This course consists of 12 sessions in which
breakfalls, basic movement exercises and 10
fundamental techniques are taught. One technique will be taught
each night, generally from 5 different attacks.
This course is designed to bring the novice up to a level at which he/she
can train with higher grades with no risk of injury, and to present an
overview of key Aikido principles.
Most beginners wear jogging bottoms and a T-shirt, and
at a later date, a training suit ( gi ) can be purchased from the Sensei.
As the techniques are taught in a 12 week rotation, you may join whenever
you can and will still learn all the fundamental techniques.
